ExpoPromoter, an online service for ticket and Expo booth distribution at exhibitions in China, has reported an injection of US$1m in investment from its shareholders, with the aim of increasing market share and raising profits by 200% in 2019.

ExpoPromoter, founded by Hennadiy Netyaha in 2009 and initially developed in the Russian and Ukrainian markets, has also won marketed share among major international exhibition organisers including Fiera Milano, Düsseldorf Messe and Reed Expo.

Sanya in China signs MoU to officially enter international exhibition market

Having reviewed the business activity of the company, Mr Shen Xiaoming, the governor of Hainan, offered ExpoPromoter to open the head office in Sanya granting the support of the province government.

Moreover, ExpoPromoter and Xiaoming discussed the involvement of the ExpoPromoter company in the opening of Sanya International Culture Expo Center in December 2018. Within the framework of this project, the ExpoPromoter company is planning to create a multilingual expo hub which would simplify the process of selling trade show stands as well as providing customer support on site for both exhibitors and visitors.

In 2015, the startup successfully entered Chinese market and won the trust of China-based trade shows. About a year later, ExpoPromoter made its first $1M operating on a new market. Hennadiy Netyaha, CEO of ExpoPromoter, tells the success story.

Launched in 2007, ExpoPromoter was initially aimed at the auto-posting of the information about various trade shows on a large number of web directories. In a couple of years, the company evolved into the largest aggregator, providing information on more than 36K trade show brands worldwide.
